Throughout Rome, there are these people who act as human freeze frames: the ubiquitous Egyptian Mummies and many Statues of Liberty. This was the first time I have ever seen a gun-slinging cowboy. I happened upon him in the Piazza Navona. He was particularly popular with the Italian children. When you paid him, he opened his bright white eyes and glared.
